This week (middle May 2009) has been full of beauty. The flowers are in full bloom.
I love the way the extra water we have had, is adding a healthy fullness that is almost breaking the stems of the flowers. I just want to share some of the flowers that I have watched bloom this week.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and
the stars; you have a right to be here.
My profession is to always find God in nature. – Henry David Thoreau
Keep your sense of proportion by regularly, preferably daily,
visiting the natural world. – Catlin Matthews
Whoever loves and understands a garden will find contentment
– Chinese Proverb
In my garden, after a rainfall, you can faintly, yes, hear the
breaking of new blooms.
– Truman Capote
The day, water, sun, moon, night – I do not have to purchase
these things with money.
Lie down and listen to the crabgrass grow.
– Marya Mannes
I will be the gladdest thing under the sun. I will touch a hundred
flowers and not pick one.
– Edna St. Vincent Millay
Thank you for visiting my site. I love to share my gifts. I do find “gladness” in touching these flowers and not picking one. My camera is my fingertips and my memory is my vase.
